Runs as a service in x86 or x64 versions of Windows (2K, XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server2008)

Plugin Based so one can write plugins in C# (or any other .NET language) to interact with their own dynamic DNS providers

- Requires Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0

Current Dynamic DNS providers supported:
  • DNSExit.com
  • DynDns.org
Installation:
  • Unzip the contents of the zip file into a folder
  • Run the required bat files to install the services. Please note that for Windows Vista / Server 2008 you need to run with elevated privileges
  • This will install two services (DNSIPUpdater & DNSIPUpdater2). Please disable one of them if you do not want to use both (each service can be used with a different provider)
  • Start IPUpdaterConf.exe to configure your credentials
  • Start the Service or Services when ready
